Erica Cedeño

A first-generation Mexican American, Erica was born in Chicago, IL her parents are originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. She wears a plethora of hats: mom, wife, Latina, Veteran, entrepreneur, and designer. Erica moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Illinois State University in 2002 where she studied Public Relations. Erica served in the Army National Guard from 1997 to 2005. In 2003, she met her husband, actor, Matt Cedeno and they have been together ever since. They have 2 children – their 9-year-old son, Jaxon and 4-year-old daughter, Aviana.
She also had a career in modeling and acting before discovering her passion for design and entrepreneurship. Erica is the proud founder of Elyella, a gender-neutral children’s apparel line, and co-owner of Body Language Sportswear, a women’s activewear brand. She is committed to creating sustainability in the fashion industry and building businesses rooted in purpose.
She also is a proud soccer mom and dance mom. When’s she’s not driving in a car or on a soccer sideline, she is working from home building businesses, investing in real estate, and is on a podcast called EntertainHer!
